Spinach/Strawberry Salad Recipe

Here is a great recipe for spinach salad. Lois got this recipe from a cookbook the Camrose Choir group created for a fund raiser.

1 Ib fresh spinach
1/2 cup almonds, slivered
1 pint fresh strawberries

Dressing:

1/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp sesame seeds
1 Tbsp poppy seeds
1 1/2 Tbsp chopped onion
1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp paprika (optional)
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup cider vinegar

Combine dressing ingredients in a jar, shake to blend. Let stand. Clean and tear the spinach. Clean and slice strawberries, toss in almonds and pour on dressing just before serving.
